Start Uncovering Unsecured Privileged Passwords In 3 Easy Steps
1. Get the Discovery Tool
- Download the Bomgar Discovery Tool
- Unzip the file to any location that is not a “Temp” folder
TIP: You will need Domain Admin rights for the discovery tool to work properly.
2. Configure the Discovery Tool
- Open the “Bomgar Discovery Tool” Application (BomgarDiscoveryTool.exe file)
- Log in as Domain Admin (The tool will automatically populate with your current domain username)
- Select the credential types you want to discover
TIP: The default scan will discover only AD Credentials, with optional buttons for adding Local and Service Accounts.
3. Run the Discovery Tool and Get Your Results
- Click “Run Scan;” the scan can take some time, depending on the firewall settings of your network
- When the scan is complete, click “See Results” in order to generate the report
- Download the PDF report
TIP: To narrow the scope of the Discovery, click “edit” next to “Scanning entire domain”, and select specific Organizational Units (OU) in Active Directory.
